14-year-old girl drowns in Bamyan

BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): A teenage girl has drowned and lost her life in central Bamyan province, police, an official said on Thursday.

Police spokesman Mohammad Khwani Rasa told Pajhwok Afghan News the 14-year-old girl drowned in the Siya Laik area of Saighan district on Wednesday.

He linked the incident to the victim’s careless attitude. The police had found the girl’s body and handed it over to her family.
