KABUL (Pajhwok): Eight people were killed and another injured in a fire at a textile factory in Foshan city in southern China, reports said on Monday.
Reuters reported that the fire broke out at 3:12 p.m. on Sunday in a two-storey building inside an industrial park and was extinguished about an hour later.
The affected building was used for production activities, including washing denim fabric, and the fire did not spread to other areas of the industrial park.
The report said search-and-rescue operations had concluded and an investigation into the cause of the fire was underway.
