PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Two Afghan nationals have been arrested for allegedly trying to get Pakistani identity cards on forged documents in the Charsadda district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The Afghans were arrested along with two agents when they arrived at the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) office in Shabqadar town of the district to obtain Pakistani computerised national identity cards (CNICs).
A Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) official identified the agents as Usman and Mamozai. They are currently under investigation.
He said the Afghan citizens were arrested while trying to obtain Pakistani CNICs through fake documents at the Nadra office.
