KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Police in southern Kandahar province have urged public not to travel to Spinboldak-Chaman crossing without official announcement, according to an official on Monday.
Police Spokesperson Mullah Asadullah Jamshid told Pajhwok Afghan News that Pakistan always created problems at Spinboldak-Chaman crossing and made it clear that Afghan security forces always cooperated with pedestrians.
“Our security agencies have never prevented the movement of our citizens or residents across the Durand Line, but Pakistani authorities have created problems and prevented people from traveling, we expect all travelers not visit the crossing before official announcement,” he said.
According to protesters on the other side of the Durand Line Pakistani authorities permitted across the Durand Line movement on the basis of Tazkera, but they alleged that the crossing remained closed besides pledges from the Pakistani authorities.
