30-year-old woman Badakhshan commits suicide

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): A young woman has allegedly committed suicide in northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Tuesday.

Information and Culture Director Eng. Zabihullah Amiri said a 30-year-old woman took the extreme step by consuming rat poison in 2^nd district of Faizabad city on Monday.

He said the incident was being investigated.

Suicide is a major sin in Islam.
