KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) political Office head in Doha has held a meeting with French chargé d'affaires and discussed matters related to the third Doha meeting on Afghanistan.
IEA Doha Office Chief Suhail Shaheen on his x.com wrote: “Today, I met Mr Jean-Marin Schuh, French Chargé d'affaires for Afghanistan and discussed with him follow-up of Doha III Meeting, alternative projects for farmers, private and health sectors and climate change.”
It pertinent to mention that the third Doha meeting on Afghanistan was held in Qatar on 30 June with the participation of the Afghan delegation led by Zabihullah Mujahid and representatives of more than 30 countries and international organizations.
The participants of this meeting discussed economic issues, the fight against drugs, the financial and banking system in Afghanistan, and the support of the private sector, focusing on supporting women entrepreneurs.
Although the western countries, including France, do not have official relations with the caretaker government of Afghanistan, the diplomats of this country have continuously met with the representatives of the Islamic Emirate in Qatar.
