KABUL (Pajhwok): Senior Afghan officials urged the international community to embrace a path of interaction and cooperation with Afghanistan, calling for the elimination of prejudice.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) celebrated the third anniversary of its re-establishment at a ceremony held on August 14 at Bagram Military Airfield. The event featured a military parade and was attended by several high-ranking officials.

Maulvi Abdul Kabir, Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, said that Afghanistan would not tolerate any external interference in its internal affairs and reaffirmed that Afghan soil will not be used against any other country.

He highlighted the IEA's foreign policy achievements, including the opening of numerous embassies, visits from foreign diplomats, and active participation in international diplomatic meetings.

Kabir also noted that the IEA has worked to resolve internal conflicts and promote unity, resulting in a peaceful and secure environment.

In his address, Acting Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani described the day as historic and joyful for Afghanistan's people, urging the international community to seize the opportunity for constructive engagement and cooperation with the country.

Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, also spoke at the ceremony, emphasizing that the IEA now holds authority in Afghanistan and that the issuance of an amnesty decree has fostered a sense of brotherhood among the people.

Hanafi highlighted the IEA’s commitment to public welfare and its efforts to strengthen the Islamic system while combating ethnic, linguistic, and sectarian prejudice and discrimination.
