2 children killed in Kunar roof collapse incident

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Two children were killed and as many others were wounded in a roof collapse incident in Narang district of eastern Kuanr province on Tuesday, an official said.

Natural Disaster Preparedness Director Qari Sabitullah told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Badial area of the district this morning shortly after 9am.

He said two children lost their lives and as many others were wounded in the incident.

He did not say why the roof caved in, but added the injured were said to be in stable condition.

Often such incidents occur due to heavy rains.
