131 million afs youth development agreement signed

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) and Islamic Relief have signed 131 million afs worth of youth development and capacity building agreement.

Khubaib Ghufran, spokesman for the MoIC wrote in his X handle, the contract was signed by Deputy of Youth Affair Director Qari Younus Rashid and Islamic Relief organization chief Mohammad Zulqarnain Abbas.

The contracting organization would implement seven programs for the employment, capacity building, thoughts reforms and economic empowerment of youth in Kabul, Balkh and Nangarhar provinces. A total of 1,825 youths would be benefited from these programs in the mentioned zones of the country, Rashid explained.

Rashid further added the government was trying to provide the youth of the country more jobs opportunities and facilities.

The chief of Islamic Relief admired the efforts of youth affairs department and promised the organization will pay more attention to youth affairs.
