KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC) has opened a Single Window Export centre at Sher Khan Port in northern Kunduz province, aimed at streamlining the export process.
This centre is the second to be inaugurated this week, following the opening of a similar facility in Balkh province.
Nooruddin Azizi, the acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, presided over both inaugurations.
Located within the customs area of Sher Khan Port, the new centre is part of a broader initiative by the MoIC to simplify and expedite the export process.
In a statement, the ministry emphasised that the establishment of these centers is designed to improve the efficiency of export documentation and accelerate export-related activities, helping boost trade and economic growth.
