Man gunned down in Parwan, suspect on the loose

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A man was gunned down and military equipment was seized from the suspect’s house in central Parwan province, an official said on Wednesday.

Police spokesman Fazl Rahim Meskinyar told Pajhwok Afghan News a young Farshid was shot injured while working in his farm by Masoud. The victim succumbed to his wounds in hospital.

The incident took place in Abidkhel village of Jabalul Saraj district on Tuesday.

Meskinyar said the suspect fled from the area and hundreds of various types of bullets, two Kalashnikovs, ten pairs of military uniforms and a bag of hashish were seized from the suspect’s house by security forces, and efforts are underway to arrest him.
