1 killed, 7 injured in Nuristan mine explosion

PARUN (Pajhwok): One individual was killed and seven others were injured in an explosion at a gemstone mine in the Doab district of central Nuristan province on Wednesday.

According to a statement from the Nuristan police, the blast occurred in the Mawe area of Doab district due to the detonation of explosives used at the mine.

The statement confirmed that one person died in the incident, while seven others sustained injuries. The injured individuals have been transported to the Doab district health center for treatment.
