KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 11 Palestinians lost their lives in latest Israeli ground and air attacks on Gaza while a senior Hamas leader arrived in Cairo, a media report said on Wednesday.
Israeli warplanes and tanks carried out strikes in the eastern parts of Gaza on Tuesday night, killing at least eleven Palestinians, Reuters reported.
It said the toll has also been confirmed by eyewitnesses and doctors.
Meanwhile, Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya arrived in Cairo, the Egyptian capital, on Tuesday to hold talks on a ceasefire plan proposed by the United States.
According to report, meetings between Hamas and Egyptian officials – scheduled to begin today (Wednesday) – will focus on halting the conflict, delivering aid and ending the suffering of the people of Gaza.
