MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): A teenage boy has been killed and three other people injured in a traffic accident on the Kabul–Kandahar highway in central Maidan Wardak province, police said on Saturday.
According to a statement from the provincial police headquarters, the accident occurred on Friday evening when a Saracha-type vehicle overturned in the Badam area of Nerkh district.
The statement said the teenage boy died at the scene, while a woman, a child and the driver sustained injuries in the incident.
Security forces and local residents transported the injured to the provincial hospital for medical treatment, the statement added.
