KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan taekwondo athlete Farzad Mansouri has won a gold medal at the 2026 Open G2 World Taekwondo competitions in the United States after defeating four opponents.
Mansouri wrote on his Facebook page on Monday night that he secured the gold medal at the 2026 Open G2 competition held in the United States.
He said that after a series of tough matches, he defeated two American opponents, one Mexican and one Argentine to claim the title.
According to reports, the competition was held in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Mansouri also won a gold medal at international taekwondo competitions held in the United Kingdom in April last year.
