KABUL (Pajhwok): Thirteen US service members have been killed and 365 others wounded so far in the ongoing conflict with Iran, the Pentagon reported.
CBS News, citing the Pentagon, said six troops were killed in an Iranian attack on Kuwait, while one service member later succumbed to injuries sustained in Saudi Arabia.
An additional six US service members were killed when a US refueling aircraft crashed, the report added.
Of the 365 troops wounded during US operations against Iran, 247 are from the Army, 63 from the Navy, 19 from the Marines, and 36 from the Air Force. Most of the injured personnel have since returned to duty, according to US Central Command.
