KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): At least 10 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in a retaliatory attack by Afghan forces on a Pakistani military post along the Durand Line in the Tani district of southeastern Khost province, security sources said on Monday.
A security source said that Afghan forces carried out the retaliatory attack in the Warzhali area of Tani district on Sunday night.
According to the source, the attack destroyed a Pakistani military post and Afghan forces brought back the body of one of the soldiers among the 10 killed.
The source also stated that the purpose of the retaliatory attack was in response to what they described as the Pakistani military frequently targeting civilian homes.
