KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Defense (MoD) says a child who fell into a deep well in Nad Ali district of Helmand province was rescued by the ministry’s technical team.
According to a statement from the 215 Azm Corps, the child had fallen into an 80-meter-deep well and was brought to safety within half an hour by the ministry’s technical and support team.
The statement added that the child’s condition is satisfactory.
Similar incidents have occurred in the province in the past.
