2 individuals executed in Iran over alleged Mossad links

KABUL (Pajhwok): Iranian judicial authorities say two individuals have been executed on charges of cooperating with a spy network linked to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency.

Tasnim reported that Mohammad Masoum Shahi and Hamid Walidi were executed on Monday morning after completing legal proceedings and the confirmation of their sentences by the Supreme Court.

According to the report, the individuals were accused of being linked to a spy network and of receiving training related to carrying out attacks and acts of sabotage.

Authorities also said the individuals were arrested with explosive materials prior to planned attacks in Tehran.
