KABUL (Pajhwok): Four people, including a woman and a child, were killed and 26 others injured after a passenger coach fell into a ravine in the Jhal Magsi area of Balochistan, police said.
According to police, the coach was travelling from Kharan to Larkana on Thursday when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to speeding.
The bus overturned into a seasonal stream between the Sawandi and Barija areas along the M-8 highway.
“We have received four bodies, including a woman and a baby, and 26 injured people are being treated at hospital,” a police officer said.
Authorities added that seven of the injured are in critical condition with serious head injuries and have been referred to hospitals in Larkana.
Police said overspeeding was the main cause of the accident.
