GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Three youths have died after drowning while swimming in the Malistan district of southern Ghazni province, police said on Friday.
In a statement, the police headquarters said the incident took place in the Sherdagh area of the district on Thursday.
It said the youths had attempted to swim in stagnant water, but all three drowned and died.
It added the bodies had been recovered from the water and handed over to their families.
Police urged people to take necessary precautions while swimming in deep ponds during the summer season.
