KABUL (Pajhwok): Three individuals have been arrested in western Ghor province with 77 kilograms of methamphetamine-type drugs (“ice”), officials said.
Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Badri, spokesperson for the Ghor police, said the suspects were detained by security forces of the third police district in Firozkoh city.
He added that the drugs were skillfully concealed in a Lexus-type vehicle, and that the traffickers intended to transport them from Firozkoh city to an unknown destination before being intercepted.
Badri stated that the case of the arrested individuals will be referred to judicial authorities following the completion of legal procedures.
