KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Four people were killed and a child injured after the roof of a room collapsed in Baak district of southeastern Khost province on Sunday, an official said.
Police spokesman Tahir Ahrar told Pajhwok the incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. in Mana village of the district.
He said four members of the same family lost their lives in the collapse, while a child sustained injuries.
Ahrar added that security forces had reached the scene and preliminary investigations suggested the incident was caused by natural factors.
According to the spokesman, the affected family was originally from Salamkhail village in Ahmadaba district of neighbouring Paktia province but was currently residing in Mana village of Baak district.
