SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A man has been arrested in connection with the killing of a 14-year-old boy in Darzab district of northern Jawzjan province, an official said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Qari Abdul Sattar Halimi told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The teenager was stabbed to death by a person named Abdul Rahman, 25, at a residential house in Darzab district on Tuesday morning.”
He said security forces launched an operation following the incident and arrested Abdul Rahman from the same village in a targeted operation on Tuesday evening.
Halimi added that the motive behind the incident had not yet been determined and investigations by security forces were ongoing.
