NILI (Pajhwok): A 40-year-old man was killed by his brother with a stone following a family dispute in central Daikundi province, security officials said.
Police spokesman Ghulam Ali Javid told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident occurred on Friday night in Jarf village in the vicinity of the provincial capital.
He said security forces were dispatched to the area following the incident and arrested the suspected killer.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances and motive behind the incident, he added.
