KABUL (Pajhwok): The foreign ministers of Iran and Turkey discussed the latest regional developments in a phone call and stressed the need to prevent an escalation of tensions and the spread of the crisis in the region.
Tasnim News Agency reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation.
According to the report, the two sides discussed the latest developments in the region.
The source said the two ministers stressed the need to prevent an escalation of tensions and the expansion of the crisis in the region.
The report added that Araghchi and Fidan also emphasised the continuation of consultations and diplomatic efforts aimed at helping ensure stability and calm in the region.
