KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan boxer Mohammad Ibrahim Frotan has lost to his South Korean opponent at the 20th Asian Olympic Games, the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports said on Monday.
In a statement, the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports said Frotan lost to his South Korean opponent 1-4 in the 70kg category.
The source added that a three-member Afghan boxing team is participating in the games.
According to the directorate, the 20th Asian Olympic Games began on September 19 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with the participation of 45 Asian countries, including Afghanistan, competing in 41 sports.
