KABUL (Pajhwok): On the occasion of US force's withdrawal from Afghanistan the National Olympic Committee and the General Directorate of Sport have held a sports exhibition in capital Kabul.
On its Twitter handle the Sport and Olympic Committee on its Twitter handle wrote different sports exhibitions and a football match was held on Thursday evening to celebrate the country’s independence.
Acting Foreign Minister Ameer Khan Muttaqi participated in the event and hailed the role of sports officials in promoting the culture of sport in every part of the country.
