Passenger bus catches fire in Salang; no casualties

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A passenger bus caught fire in the Salang area of central Panjsher province, but the incident caused no casualties, an official said on Monday.

Abdullah Obaid, the highway maintenance commander, said the incident took place on Sunday night at around 10:00pm.

He said the blaze erupted due to technical problems and passengers were rescued by the highway maintenance department.
