KABUL (Pajhwok): Representatives of the Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) have virtually attended an academic meeting organised by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO) on the statues of the Islamic manuscripts, methods for their preservation and protection and ways to utilise this heritage in contemporary research.

A gathering of Pakistani clerics, led by Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has voiced concern over recent tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, stressing the only sustainable and practical way to resolve disputes is through direct dialogue between officials of the two neighbouring countries.
