The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (MoUDH) has signed a contract worth 455 million afghanis with a private company for the construction of a 6.2-kilometre section of the Kabul–Bagram road.

The Sarbend and Kahshan canal project has been completed and inaugurated in Charkh district of central Logar province at a cost of nearly 150,000 US dollars, the Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW) said on Wednesday.

A 22.75-megawatt solar power generation project was completed and inaugurated in the Naghlu area of Surobi district in Kabul on Tuesday, officials said.
