20 dead, 24 wounded in Zabul accident

KANDAHAR CITY (PAN-Kandahar highway in southern Zabul province on Thursday, an official said.

On its way from Kabul to southwestern Nimroz province, the Syed Jamaluddin Afghan Company vehicle turned over in Jaldak district at about 1:00pm, said a Kandahar traffic official, Mohammad Khan.

Some of the wounded passengers were taken to Qalat Civil Hospital, and the rest to Mirwais Hospital in Kandahar province, he said. Doctors could not be reached for comment.
