4 ANA soldiers killed, 16 injured

KABUL): Four Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed and 16 others injured in separate incidents of violence in the country, the Ministry of Defence said on Monday.

The casualties occurred during operations over the past 24 hours in Paktia, Faryab, Zabul, and Maidan Wardak provinces, a statement from the ministry said.

It added the injured soldiers were taken to hospital. However, they ministry said nothing about the soldiers’ condition.
