4 including cops killed in Tirinkot bombing

TIRINKOT (PAN): Three policemen and a civilian were killed during a bomb explosion in Tirinkot, the capital of central Uruzgan province, on Wednesday.

Police official 2^nd Lieutenant Gul Agha told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast occurred at 9am when a police vehicle hit a roadside bomb in the Talan Manda area.

With no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, he said the powerful explosion also destroyed the police pick-up.
