CHARIKAR): A total of 13 schools and madrasas, funded by the Japanese government, were completed in Jabalussaraj district of central Parwan province.

Education Minister Farooq Wardak attended the inauguration ceremony of these projects held in Julbahar area of Jabalussaraj district. 

Parwan Education Director Zalmay Shaheed told Pajhwok Afghan News that two madrasas, named Amam-e- Azam and Showaulallom, a girls’ and boys’ school in Izat Khaloo area were among the  projects.

Each school has eight classrooms, three administrative rooms, water storage facilities and other basic infrastructures.

The total cost of the projects was estimated at id=”mce_marker”.7 million (8.71millions afs) and about 12,000 students could study in these institutions.

Education Minister urged local residents to register their children in schools so they can have a better future.

At the ceremony, district education director announced that Parwan Wolesi Jirga institute.
