KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah on Monday said the national unity government remained committed to reforming the electoral bodies.
Abdullah renewed the administration’s pledge while speaking to a delegation of elders from northeastern Badakhshan province at the Presidential Palace.
The CEO said serving the people, ensuring rule of law, implementing justice and eradicating corruption remained the government’s top priorities. He urged the elders to help bridge the gap between the government and the masses.
The delegation informed Abdullah about their problems including insecurity, education and the economy of Badakhshan, which recently witnessed a wave of violence in Warduj, Juram and others districts.
