3 Pakistani Taliban killed in Kunar drone strike

ASASDABD (Pajhwok): Three Pakistani Taliban drone strike in the eastern province of Kunar, officials said on Friday.

The drone attack took place on Thursday night in Nakora area of Chapa Dara district, Kunar police chief Brig. Gen. Abdul Habib Syedkheli told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Three members of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in the incident while civilians stayed unharmed, he said.

Separately, police arrested a person over his alleged affiliation with the Taliban in Pashad area of Sarkani district.

Syedkheli said the person had also been accused of attacking a security checkpoint in the area.
