JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Four Afghan Local Police (ALP) and as many Taliban have been killed in blast and drone strike in eastern Nangarhar province, officials said on Wednesday.
Four ALP personnel were killed and two wounded when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb on Wednesday night Sherzado district.
The injured had been shifted to Jalalabad for treatment, he said.
Separately, Four Taliban were killed in overnight drone strike in the Watpur district, Police spokesman Hazrat Hussain Mashraqiwal said.
He added, among the dead Taliban were one foreigner.
In Chaparhar, a girl lost two legs in a blast, according to the governor office statement.
