Police officer shot dead in Ghazni

^{GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Unidentified gunmen killed a police officer in the capital of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Sunday.}

^{The police officer was shot dead while going home from the office, Col. Zarawar Zahid, the Ghazni police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News.}

^{No one has been arrested so far in connection with the murder. But the Taliban claimed responsibility for killing the police official, saying he headed the Deh Yak district crime branch.}
