GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Unidentified gunmen killed a police officer in the capital of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Sunday.
The police officer was shot dead while going home from the office, Col. Zarawar Zahid, the Ghazni police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
No one has been arrested so far in connection with the murder. But the Taliban claimed responsibility for killing the police official, saying he headed the Deh Yak district crime branch.
