ASADABAD (PAN): Two policemen were killed in a bomb blast in the capital of eastern Kunar province, an official said on Wednesday.
They fatalities happened in the Shagai area on the outskirts of Asadabad, Kunar police chief, Brig. Gen. Khalilullah Ziayee told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The blast resulted from a remote-control mine, he said.
As usual, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the bombing.
