KUNDUZ CITY (PAN): Six passengers were killed and a seventh wounded in traffic accident in northern Kunduz province, an official said on Sunday.
The casualties happened on Saturday evening when a car ploughed into a truck in the Imam Sahib district, provincial traffic chief, Abdul Karim Langari, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Six occupants of the car, including the driver, died in the collision, said the official, adding that the victims from Kunduz City — the provincial capital — had been to the district.
He blamed the car driver for his recklessness, saying that the injured man was under treatment at a hospital in Kunduz City. He is said to be in stable condition.
