GHAZNICITY (PAN): Four policemen were killed and a fifth injured when their patrol vehicle was attacked by a group of insurgents in the southern province of Ghazni on Sunday, officials said.
The attack took place in Kohna Deh village of Deh Yak district at around 8am, police chief, Col. Zarawar Zahid, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
As a result, he said, four policemen were killed and a fifth was injured. The colonel said the police travelled to the Taliban-controlled area without informing the police headquarters.
