LASHKARGAH (PAN): An Afghan policeman shot dead an American soldier and wounded three others before he was killed by the troops in southern Helmand province on Thursday, an official said.
The shootout happened after a scuffle between the policeman and the US soldiers, an official, who did not want to be named, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A US advisor of police chief in Lashkergha, Demoson, also confirmed the shooting. He said the policeman was killed in retaliation by Americans.
