The blast took place at 9:00pm on Friday and resulted in causing fire to ten trucks that were reduced to ashes in the fire, Naeem Khan, a Pakistani border police officer, told Pajhwok Afghan News. He said a driver was also injured.
Firefighters from Khyber Agency were unable to control the blaze until 11:30pm, he said.
Mohammad Jameel, a witness, said the fire was brought under control late in the night, but thick smokes were seen emerging from the trucks until Saturday morning.
