One Afghan soldier killed in Taliban attack

JALALABAD (PAN-Jalalabad highway, an official said on Sunday.

An ANA vehicle was destroyed in the Taliban assault that took place in the Gazak area of Sarobi district, Hazrat Mohammad Haqbeen, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Security forces arrived at the scene, but the Taliban managed to flee. Rebel spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed the fighters had killed five soldiers.
