GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Four guards working for a private security firm were killed and as many others injured in two separate bomb explosions in southern Ghazni province on Saturday, an official said.
The incidents occurred in the Da Khudaidad and Arezo areas of Andar district, Col. Mohammad Hassan, provincial deputy police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News. Both the attacks targeted private security guards, he said.
A Taliban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid, claimed responsibility for the blasts. His tally of 8 guards killed differed from official accounts.
