KUNDUZ CITY (PAN): Three civilians were killed and nearly a dozen others injured in a suicide bombing in the northern province of Kunduz on Sunday, the Interior Ministry said.
The bomber detonated his explosives when a convoy of foreign troops passed by the airport road in Kunduz City at 9:10 am, the ministry said in a statement.
The blast resulted in the deaths of three civilians and injuries to 11 others. German troops were the target.
Public Health Director Dr. Zafar Noori confirmed receiving two dead bodies and nine injured men at the Kunduz civil hospital, some of them in critical condition.
