GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Four policemen were injured during a mine-clearing operation in southern Ghazni province, officials said on Tuesday.
The injured policemen brought to the civil hospital in Ghazni city had been discharged after treatment, said the hospital chief, Dr. Ibrahimzai, to Pajhwok Afghan News.
In a separate incident, one policeman was injured in a blast in the Amir Mohammad Khan Qala area, said police chief, Col. Zarawar Zahid, said.
No arrests have been made so far in connection with the blast, but an investigation was ongoing, he said.
