At least one man was wounded, as the vehicle was blown up in the Haider Khana area of Qaisar district, the provincial police spokesman said.
Col. Syed Masood Yaqubi, speaking to Pajhwok Afghan News, blamed the militants for planting roadside bombs that caused civilian casualties.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bomb attack.
In the first six months of the current year, 1,462 civilians have been killed in Afghanistan, according to a United Nations report. Most of the fatalities have resulted from roadside bombings.
