GHAZNI CITY (PAN): The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development would provide $6 million for development projects in southern Ghazni province, officials said on Tuesday.
Fifteen development projects would be launched in the province under national and regional development programme, the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Director Ghullam Sanayi Mayel told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The schemes included roads asphalting, clean drinking water schemes, retaining walls and health related projects. The projects would be carried out in Jaghori, Malistan, Nawar districts and Ghazni city, the official said.
Deputy Regional Development Programme director Abdul Malik Ahmadzai said they planned to extend the programme to other provinces as well.
He another 17 schemes would be launched in Ghazni next year.
